+ How do I log in to JOE?
To access JOE using a keyfob, you must have:
- a valid User ID
- a keyfob
- a PIN number for use with the keyfob
Open Internet Explorer, and enter connect.eaton.com in the "Address" field. (Please note that there is no "www" preceding the address.) Once the JOE login screen appears, enter your User ID and click Continue.
Your User ID is the same as your Oracle ID number, left-padded with zeros to a maximum of seven digits, and preceded by an "E". For example: if your Oracle ID is 12345, your User ID would be E0012345. Enter this in the "User ID" field.
On the second login screen, enter your password and click Login.
Your password is a ten-digit number consisting of a 4-digit PIN and the 6 digits displayed on the keyfob. The 6 digits on your keyfob change approximately every 60 seconds. Enter the 4-digit PIN followed by the 6 digits as displayed on the keyfob with no spaces, dashes, or other characters. In case you do not enter the password before the digits displayed on the keyfob change, clear this field and begin again.
It is highly recommended that you memorize your 4-digit PIN. Do not share it with others or write it down on or near your computer or on the keyfob device itself.
+ How do I log in to JOE if I forget my PIN?
If you forget your PIN number, contact the Global Support Center (GSC) to reset the PIN. The GSC will reset the PIN in "new PIN mode", which will allow you to select a new PIN. You may then continue to log in to JOE as you normally would.
The Global Support Center can be contacted via e-mail at GlobalSupport@eaton.com, or by phone at (440)-523-4357.
+ How do I log in to JOE if I lose my keyfob?
If you lose your keyfob, contact the Global Support Center (GSC). The GSC can temporarily switch your JOE account from keyfob access to non-keyfob access. You will still have access to JOE externally, but it will be a restricted view without access to higher-security information, including systems that hold intellectual property and e-mail. Once you receive your replacement keyfob, the GSC will switch your JOE account back to using keyfob access.
The Global Support Center can be contacted via e-mail at GlobalSupport@eaton.com, or by phone at (440)-523-4357.
+ How do I log in to JOE from home or other non-Eaton location?
As a keyfob user, you have the ability to log in to JOE from any Windows-based PC with Internet Explorer version 5.5 or above and an available Internet connection. (Click here for additional information about system requirements.)
Open Internet Explorer, and enter connect.eaton.com in the "Address" field. Once the JOE login screen appears, you can follow these instructions to log in.
If you use your Eaton-issued laptop computer to connect outside of the Eaton network, you will have access to other Eaton network-based resources, such as applications (like the full Outlook desktop client, rather than Outlook Web Access), shared network drives, and printers.
Always remember to log out of JOE when you are finished, especially when accessing JOE from outside the Eaton network.
+ Does my computer meet standards for JOE access?
